Laboratory buyers rarely look for "a product" in general. They come with a specific task: chromatography, centrifugation, cell biology, sample storage or a particular manufacturer's instrument. At the same time, they want to know that the supplier can install the equipment, service it and train their staff. The Quantum Latvija website needed to show both sides: a wide, well-organised assortment and a reliable partner behind it.
We developed the website on WordPress. The public side combines the company presentation, a product catalogue of eighteen categories with subcategories, a services section, news and contacts with the team. On the company side, the team needed a convenient place to add and update products, categories, news and content without help from developers.
Equipment of this kind is usually priced individually, depending on the configuration and the laboratory's needs. Instead of a classic online shop with a shopping cart, the website needed to lead visitors to a conversation with a specialist. We therefore designed the catalogue so that each product page ends with a clear next step: a request for an offer.

In the visual approach, we aimed for a clean, laboratory-like feeling. A white background, a bright blue accent from the Quantum identity and a dark navy for headings create a calm and professional colour language. Large product images on light backgrounds let the equipment speak for itself, while photographs of laboratories in the main slider set the context in which the products are used.
In the catalogue, structure matters most. The assortment covers everything from laboratory furniture and fume cupboards to spectroscopy, bioprocess systems, chemicals and consumables. We organised it into categories and subcategories (for example, chromatography is divided into Agilent chromatographs, columns and Interchim PuriFlash systems), with product counts and images on each category card. A product search in the header and a full category menu help specialists who already know what they are looking for get there in one or two clicks.
The next step is just as important. Every product page has a "Get an offer" button that opens an enquiry form, so a visitor can contact the sales team directly from the product they are interested in. Contact details, the team with their roles and the company's requisites are available on a separate page, and the address, phone and email are always visible in the top bar.
- We developed the website design and structure in Latvian and English. One website presents the company, its partners, quality standards and the full product range for local and international visitors.
- We built a product catalogue on WooCommerce, organised by categories and subcategories. Images, descriptions and related products help visitors compare options and move between product groups.
- We replaced the shopping cart with an enquiry flow. A "Get an offer" form on each product page lets visitors request a price and configuration directly from the product they need.
- We created sections for services, news and the team. Installation, technical service, training and consulting are presented alongside the products, and news covers new equipment and manufacturer promotions.
- We provided content and product management in the WordPress admin. The team can add products, update categories and publish news on its own, using visual page editing in Elementor.
- We set up technical foundations. Technical SEO, Google Site Kit analytics, cookie consent management and spam protection for forms.
- Technologies: WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor Pro, TranslatePress, Contact Form 7, Google Site Kit

Quantum Latvija gained a website that presents the company as a reliable partner for laboratories and makes a wide assortment easy to navigate. Specialists can explore product categories, find a specific instrument, learn about the related services and request an offer in a few steps.
The team can manage products, categories, news and content on its own, keeping the offering current as new equipment and partners appear. Enquiries start from specific product pages, connecting what visitors see on the website with the company's daily sales work. Hitexis continues to develop and maintain the website.
