La demande
Choosing a catering partner is a matter of trust. A kindergarten director or care-home manager wants to know that meals are balanced, portions meet the regulations, allergies are taken into account and food arrives on time, every day. The LINELE website needed to convey this care and reliability, while helping each type of client quickly find the service that fits them and send a request.
We developed the public website and an administration system. The public side presents the company and its services for institutions, events and home lunches, with separate pages for each client group. On the company side, the team needed one place to handle the full path from a request to a delivered meal: clients and contracts, menus and recipes, daily orders, warehouse stock, delivery documents, invoices and the kitchen staff schedule.
It was important to see catering as a process that repeats every day and must not fail. Menus change, the number of portions changes, products arrive and are used, and each delivery needs its own documents. We therefore considered both sides: how clients understand the offer, and how the people in the office, kitchen and warehouse keep everything accurate from morning to evening. Design and data management address the same shared task in this project.
Notre réalisation
In the visual approach, we sought a balance between the warmth of home cooking and the clarity expected by institutions. A deep navy, a warm golden accent and light, airy backgrounds establish the colour language. Photos of the kitchen and food show real care, while clear sections, short facts and visible regulation compliance help the client trust the offer. The aim was a calm, friendly presentation that leads to one clear action: requesting an offer.
In the administration system, accuracy matters most. A tech card describes each dish with its ingredients, nutrition values and allergens. Menus are built from these dishes and checked against the nutrition norms for each age group. Daily orders, deliveries and documents follow from the menu, so the team does not re-enter the same data in several places. Visitors' requests arrive directly in the system and become clients, contracts and regular deliveries.
The work of the people also matters. Each role — manager, chef, warehouse keeper, accountant, administrator — sees the sections it needs. The kitchen works from a tablet, and the shift schedule shows who is working, on leave or absent. This makes requests, menus, production, stock and documents part of one process.
- We developed the website design and a structure suited to its content in Latvian, English and Russian. Separate pages for kindergartens, schools, care homes, offices, camps, social-centre clients and events help each visitor find the relevant service.
- We connected request forms to the administration system. A request becomes a client, a contract and a regular delivery schedule, and a commercial proposal can be prepared and sent directly from it.
- We built menu management with tech cards, nutrition values, allergens and menu cycles. Menus are checked against the nutrition norms of Cabinet Regulation No. 172 for each age group.
- We developed daily order handling by delivery time, along with a kitchen tablet for preparing and packing meals. Delivery acts and other documents are generated automatically and can be sent to clients by e-mail.
- We created warehouse management for receipts, stock, transfers, write-offs and inventory counts, with products deducted according to the menu. Invoices are issued with legal numbering and sent as PDF files.
- We provided staff management with a shift schedule, leave and a work calendar, together with user roles, notifications and built-in user manuals for each role. Technical SEO foundations also help structure the website's information for search engines.

Résultat
LINELE gained a shared environment for presenting its services and running its daily catering work. Clients can explore the offer for their type of institution or event, see how meals are planned and send a request in a few steps.
The team can manage clients, menus, orders, stock, documents and staff in one system. This connects what clients see on the public website with the work of the office, kitchen and warehouse. The design's value lies in keeping a warm, trustworthy identity on the website while giving the team the precise tools it needs to deliver the right meal, on time, every day.
Socle technique
