Sharky

For Sharky, a children's sports club in Riga, we developed a website that helps parents understand the club and sign their child up. Sharky runs its training sessions directly in schools and pools, so a parent's first questions are practical: which sport, at which school, at what time and for what price. The website therefore had to present the club's programme and its approach while keeping schedules, prices and sign-up within easy reach. We sought a balance between a warm, energetic presentation and clear information for busy families.

La demande

Sharky describes its idea in one line: sport for children, not children for sport. The club offers swimming, triathlon, water polo, fencing, Laser Run and a sports class, complemented by coaching and medical support, and it runs sessions at several Riga schools and sports venues as well as a summer camp.

We built the website on Tilda, so the club can update its pages itself. The public side presents each sport, the club's approach and its coaches, along with schedules by school, prices, contacts and the summer activities. A Russian version runs alongside the Latvian one.

It was important that every page leads to the same next step. Whatever a parent reads first, they should be able to request a trial session without searching for a form.

Notre réalisation

In the visual approach we used the club's own palette: the light blue of the Sharky mark, an orange accent for the main actions and photography of children in training. The tone is friendly and active, and the layout keeps text short so parents can scan it quickly.

The home page explains what makes the club different: experienced coaches, a programme that combines physical and personal development, early attention to health problems and a schedule that fits the school day. Short sections then introduce each sport and the people behind the club.

Schedules are organised by school, which is how parents think about the question. Each location leads to its timetable, and the sign-up form asks for the school first, so the club receives requests that already say where the child will train.

  • We built the website on Tilda so the club can maintain its content without a developer.
  • We created pages for each sport, from swimming and triathlon to water polo, fencing and Laser Run, as well as coaching and medical support.
  • We organised schedules by school and venue, so parents can find the sessions closest to them.
  • We added a trial session sign-up form that starts with the choice of school, and linked the club's Telegram bot as a second way to apply.
  • We presented the coaches, prices, the summer camp and the club's contacts.
  • We prepared a Russian version of the website alongside the Latvian one.

Résultat

Sharky received a website that explains the club's programme and approach and gives parents a direct route to a trial session. A family can choose a sport, find their school's schedule and apply in a few steps.

For the club, the value lies in requests that arrive with the right details and in content it can keep current itself as schedules and seasons change.
