Accessibility statement

HITEXIS is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, or magnification

In short

  • This site is built to be used with a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification, as well as with a mouse and good eyesight
  • That is not a claim we make once. It is re-checked automatically every time the site is rebuilt, and two of those checks stop the release if they fail
  • If something here stops you from doing what you came to do, email us. We treat it as a fault to fix, not as a suggestion to consider

Conformance status

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 level AA: some parts of it do not yet fully meet the standard, and we will call it fully conformant only after a complete re-check. The sections below set out how it is tested and what has not been examined, so that this can be checked rather than taken on trust

How this was tested

Accessibility is checked on every build rather than once. Two of the audits below block the build when they fail, which is why a regression cannot reach the site quietly

  • Automated axe testing across 12 page types in both light and dark themes: 0 critical and 0 serious violations
  • Heading structure audited across every pre-rendered page: one h1 per page and no skipped levels
  • Colour contrast, visible focus indicators, a skip-to-content link and reduced-motion support reviewed and corrected in August 2026
  • Forms expose their errors in the DOM with role="alert" rather than only as a transient toast, so a screen reader announces them
  • The public pages are pre-rendered, so their content is present without JavaScript

Known limitations

The following limitations explain which areas have not had the same level of testing and where third-party components are used

  • The CRM and administration screens sit behind a login and have not been audited. They are not part of the public website
  • Automated testing covers roughly a third of the WCAG success criteria. The remaining criteria (among them meaningful sequence, consistent identification and error prevention) have been reviewed by hand but not by an independent auditor
  • The contacts page shows an interactive map whose tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap when you scroll to it. Once loaded it is outside our control, and its pan and zoom controls are Leaflet's rather than ours

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this site stops you from doing what you came to do, please tell us. Describe the page and what happened; you do not need to know the technical term for the problem. We treat accessibility reports as defects, not as suggestions

Email: info@hitexis.com

We reply to every accessibility report and tell you what we intend to do about it. If a fix takes time, we will say so rather than close the report
