A clear invitation on the first screen
A view over Riga’s rooftops and the river sets the scene for the headline about business breakfasts in Riga. Two red buttons lead straight to the sign-up form and the meeting dates.
A thin red bar with the e-mail address and phone number stays above the navigation, and the BNI red carries through the whole page.
The BNI principle explained in plain words
The about section presents the chapter as part of BNI, the world’s largest business referral community, and explains its core principle, Givers Gain: helping others grow their business brings new opportunities back.
A white text card overlaps a photograph of a business conversation, and a full-width red band below turns the explanation into an invitation to the next meeting.
Registration next to the meeting calendar
The sign-up form and the calendar share one panel. Only the days on which the chapter meets can be selected, and choosing one fills in the date field of the form.
Guests enter their first name, surname, phone number and field of business. The form is submitted without leaving the page, and a confirmation message appears afterwards.
Upcoming meetings at a glance
Below the calendar, every upcoming date is a card with its agenda: a short presentation, member talks and networking. A label separates breakfasts held in person from online sessions.
The meeting cards and calendar use the same date list to keep the displayed schedule consistent.
A bilingual website and its technical foundation
The website works in Russian, the language of the meetings, and in Latvian, each version at its own address and linked with hreflang. A cookie notice explains the Google Analytics measurement and lets the visitor accept or decline it.
The interface uses Bootstrap and jQuery. Meeting dates are loaded from the server, and PHP handles the registration forms submitted by visitors.
