Pierre Cardin Bedding

For LatSofa, the company that brings Pierre Cardin Bedding to the Baltic region, we developed and maintain the online stores for Latvia and Estonia. The websites needed to present a premium bedroom collection with the calm, refined character of the brand, while helping visitors choose between hundreds of beds, mattresses and bedroom sets in specific sizes. We therefore combined an editorial presentation with a full product catalogue, collection pages, online ordering and careful localisation for each market. We sought a balance between an elegant brand image, precise product information and stores that stay fast and reliable for real customers.

The brief

LatSofa represents Pierre Cardin Bedding in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, with a showroom in Rīga and a partner in Tallinn. Its customers are private buyers furnishing a bedroom, as well as interior designers, design studios, architects and furnishing professionals working on residential and hospitality projects. They compare models, dimensions, materials and prices carefully, because a bed or mattress is a considered, long-term purchase.

We built two WooCommerce stores that share one product range of 604 items: 165 bedroom sets, 165 beds, 237 mattresses and 37 accessories such as nightstands and poufs, organised into 50 named collections. The Latvian store works in English and Latvian, and the Estonian store in Estonian and English. Alongside the catalogue, the sites include pages on the brand, collaboration with designers, delivery and assembly, contacts, a blog and the full set of legal and cookie pages, while the team manages products, orders and content in the WordPress administration area.

The work continues after launch. We carried out a complete review of the Latvian translations, aligned the product order of the Latvian store with the Estonian one, prepared a structured image inventory for the client's CRM, and added protection against automated traffic that had begun to overload the stores. Each change was made in a controlled way, with backups and verification of the live result.

What we delivered

We kept the visual approach quiet and natural, in keeping with a brand that speaks about organic materials and restful sleep. Sage green and warm brown accents sit on white and soft off-white backgrounds, with large interior photography, clean product cards and restrained typography, so the products and materials remain the focus.

The core of each website is the catalogue. Every product carries its model and collection name, exact dimensions, stock status, price and a gallery, and the descriptions, attributes, product tabs and frequently asked questions explain what is included, for example whether a bed is sold with or without a mattress. Visitors can filter and sort the range, browse by collection, open a quick view, save items to a wishlist and compare models side by side. These details matter, because the same model is offered in many sizes and configurations, and the right choice depends on understanding them precisely.

The next step is the order. Customers add products to the cart and complete checkout online, and the Estonian store shows an instalment calculator that splits the price into six monthly payments. Delivery and assembly information is presented on its own page, and in Estonia the site highlights free delivery across the country, free assembly by two specialists and the option to take away old furniture. Designers and other professionals can find a dedicated page describing how LatSofa works with them, with contact details for the showroom and the company.

  • We developed two multilingual WooCommerce stores for Latvia and Estonia on a shared product structure. Each language has its own addresses, including localised shop and category paths, so visitors can switch language at any point.
  • We built a catalogue of 604 products across four categories and 50 collections, with filters, sorting, quick view, wishlist and comparison. The Latvian default product order now follows the Estonian store exactly, so both markets present the range in the same sequence.
  • We provided a full review of the Latvian localisation, correcting 4,626 translations across the home page, navigation, all products, legal pages, forms, cart and checkout. Collection and model names such as COTTON WOOL or COOL WARM were restored and kept unchanged, and every Latvian page was checked on the live site afterwards.
  • We created a terminology glossary for the Latvian version, defining terms such as bed, bedroom set, mattress and sleeping area. It keeps product names consistent and prevents misleading translations, for example confusing a bedroom set with a bed linen set.
  • We connected search engine and privacy support to both stores, with language-specific sitemaps, alternate-language links, structured data, cookie consent and spam protection on forms. Pages are cached so the catalogue loads quickly for visitors.
  • We built protection against a botnet that had been crawling endless filter and search addresses and slowing the stores down. Real visitors pass through unnoticed, search engines and payment callbacks are not affected, and under heavy load the stores switch automatically into a stricter mode and notify the team through Telegram.

Result

LatSofa gained two coordinated online stores that present Pierre Cardin Bedding consistently in Latvia and Estonia, with the same product range, the same ordering and localised content for each market. The team manages products, prices, stock and orders in one familiar administration area, and the stores remain available for real customers even when automated traffic increases.

Visitors can explore the collections in their own language, compare models and sizes, understand exactly what each product includes and place an order online. The calm visual identity, accurate localisation and well-structured product data work together, so the brand's premium character and the practical details of a purchase support each other.
